The German Nico Hulkenberg has been the fastest in the second day of tests of Formula 1 in Montmelo . The Force India driver has recorded a time of 1:22.608, the best of the week so far, only forty thousandths ahead of that achieved by Mexican Sergio Perez (Sauber). Note that both achieved their record with the new supersoft tires, the teams are testing for the first time in the Catalan track.
The current World Champion, Sebastian Vettel, was the first to lower this morning the best time he had established himself yesterday first day of tests at Montmelo Formula 1 . In the afternoon, the German Red Bull held a race simulation. In the end, his was the third record of the day, just ahead of Fernando Alonso .
Ferrari's Spanish set a best time of 1:23.180 15 minutes from the end of the session, which covered a total of 85 laps.
